'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year contract he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the maiden important honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects
